Why Circle of Hope Was Built Differently

Gainesville already had several crisis pregnancy centers within approximately two miles of one another when Circle of Hope was created. We never set out to simply create another one. Instead, we kept coming back to the needs we saw going unmet—and asking what could be done differently.

For many women, men, and teens, the realities of an unexpected pregnancy do not begin or end with a pregnancy decision. They may involve housing, transportation, childcare, employment, education, relationships, emotional well-being, or simply having someone willing to stay involved when the immediate crisis has passed.

Circle of Hope was built around those unmet needs.

We created a place where each person can be truly known, heard, and cared for as an individual—with free access to high-quality medical services, personalized guidance, extensive practical assistance, and support that can continue well beyond the first visit.

We also recognized that the greatest impact would come from working together. That understanding led us to build a wraparound model centered on strong community partnerships. Today, trusted healthcare providers, churches, nonprofits, businesses, and community organizations bring their expertise and resources into the Circle—helping us expand the help available, stretch donor dollars further, and respond to needs no single organization could address alone.

At the heart of Circle of Hope is something simple: we want every person who comes through our doors to experience genuine kindness, thoughtful attention, and the reassurance that someone will stay beside them as they work through the challenges ahead.

The result is a fundamentally different kind of organization—one that actively works to remove the barriers that can make choosing life feel impossible.

Since opening our doors, the response has exceeded anything we imagined. Circle of Hope has grown quickly, reached far more people than we expected, and confirmed just how great the need was for this kind of comprehensive, relationship-centered support in our community.

What began as a vision has become a thriving, rapidly growing mission—and we are only beginning to see what is possible.
